Lockleaf collects no data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising SDKs.

Your photos and videos

Items you add are encrypted on your iPhone with AES-256-GCM and stored only in the app's private storage. The encryption key is protected by your PIN (and, if you enable it, by Face ID through the iOS Keychain). We never receive your files, your PIN or your key, and we cannot recover them.

Permissions

Photos: to import items you pick and, only if you ask, to delete the originals or save an item back. Camera and microphone: for the private camera. Face ID: to unlock the vault. None of this leaves your device.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive no payment details.

Backups

Vault files are included in your own encrypted iPhone backup if you use one; they remain encrypted with your vault key.
